Best Resistance Band Workout Routines

Hits: 9

To put it simply, this is a list of the best resistance band workout routines.

Some of them focus on upper body, while others focus on exercises for legs.

Most of these resistance band exercises can be performed by beginners.

In need of some resistance bands? These are the best on the market:

The List

1) 33 Resistance Band Exercises You Can Do Literally Anywhere

I’m sure from the title you will realize that there isn’t a specific daily routine you can do. Doing 33 resistance band exercises and workouts in one day would be pretty outrageous. The reason this one got the number one spot was because of the vast amount of exercises that it gives. This was clearly well thought out and made.

2) The Driveway Workout

I love this workout. It gives you a video to see exactly how to perform each workout as well. It works the quads very well, and also gives you upper body workouts, too, like shoulders, chest, triceps, and biceps. The cool part about this workout is that it is timed, meaning you are going all out until you are basically out of energy. It builds great endurance.

3) Black Mountain Products Exercises

These guys give you some more variety of workouts along with pictures. They have more chest exercises than most of the other workouts on this list, and they explain how to do them in great detail.

4) 37 Killer Resistance Band Exercises Burn Muscles Anywhere

This one is well organized, giving you a wide variety of workouts and exercises. It is full body, the only difference is that there is no specific routine to work with. It is always nice to have a good routine, because then you don’t usually forget anything and it is easier to convince yourself to workout if you have a sheet telling you what to do next.

5) Resistance Band Workout Plan

I like this one a lot because they give you a specific plan to do each day. I believe you have to sign up with them if you want to get past day one, but it might be worth it if they do all of the planning work for you.

6) Workout Routines

This is basically the all out list of almost every resistance band exercise out there. Again there is no routine or plan associated with it, but if you do some researching, you can put these exercises to use.

Why Resistance Bands?

Resistance Bands are probably one of my favorite ways to workout. They are so versatile, but not many people use them. I’d say the best part about them is that they are extremely portable. You can’t take with you a barbell, a set of 5 dumbbells, and a bench if you head out of town on a business trip for a week. You can, however, take a set of resistance bands in a small bag with you. You can work you legs, arms, core…Man, I’ll just say it, you can do practically anything with these.

I am not completely biased. I do understand the limits that come with these. While I found upper body mostly easy to find workouts for, the lower body was a bit difficult to come up with exercises. I was planning on a adding quite a bit of muscle and weight to “beef up” for baseball season and needed to find some hardcore leg workouts fast.

I have searched most everywhere to find a mix of the best, most unique, and beneficial resistance band workouts on the internet. If you use a different one that you think should be added to the list, let me know! I keep an open mind.

(Just on a side note, I do not get commissioned and am in no way affiliated with these websites, these are just my opinionated best resistance band workouts.)
